Liming your lawn for moss may not help and could harm your fruit harvest

Moss in the lawn is usually a symptom of shade, compaction, dampness or weak nutrition, not just acidic soil. Liming without a soil test can be ineffective and, in excess, may reduce fruit quality by upsetting nutrient uptake.
