About Gardenino
Who we are
Gardenino is an international online magazine dedicated to gardening, plant cultivation and small-scale animal husbandry. We bring together practical, seasonal know-how for hobby gardeners, growers and backyard keepers, and we publish it in many languages so that good advice is never lost in translation.
Gardening & cultivation
Gardening is the art and craft of growing plants for food, beauty and well-being. Our gardening coverage spans the whole growing year and every corner of the plot:
- Vegetable growing — sowing calendars, raised beds, crop rotation, companion planting, watering and harvesting tomatoes, peppers, root crops, leafy greens and herbs.
- Ornamental gardening — perennials, bulbs, roses, flowering shrubs, balcony and container displays, and year-round colour.
- Fruit growing — planting, pruning and protecting fruit trees, berries and vines.
- Soil & plant health — composting, mulching, fertilising, natural pest and disease control, and building living soil.
- Seasonal work — what to do in spring, summer, autumn and winter, month by month.
- Propagation — seeds, cuttings, division and overwintering, so your garden pays you back year after year.
Keeping & husbandry
A living garden often goes hand in hand with keeping animals. Our husbandry section covers the basics of responsible, small-scale keeping — backyard poultry and their housing, bees and pollinators, and welcoming beneficial wildlife into the garden — always with animal welfare and local rules in mind.
How we work
Our editorial team curates expert horticultural content and adapts it for an international audience using professional translation and human review. Terminology, units and seasonal timing are localised so the advice is genuinely useful wherever you garden.
